Job description / Role
• Oversee and coordinate daily eCommerce operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment to meet demand.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Address and resolve day-to-day operational challenges, minimizing disruptions to service and workflow.
• Compile and publish regular reports on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to optimize operations.
• Work closely with cross functional teams, including catalogue, marketing, sales, and customer service, to support overall business objectives.
• Assist in resolving customer inquiries and issues related to order fulfilment and delivery.
• Support the training of new staff on operational procedures and systems to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations in all operational activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Contribute to demand forecasting efforts to align inventory levels with projected sales. Maintain and update operational systems and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data management.
• Assist in tracking operational budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Gather feedback from team members and customers to continuously improve operational processes and customer experience.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience
• Proven experience in eCommerce operations or a related field (45 years preferred).
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and eCommerce platforms.
Knowledge
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
• Familiarity with key performance indicators relevant to eCommerce operations and a track record of meeting or exceeding them.
• Experience with inventory management software and order fulfilment systems preferably in ecommerce environment
