Planning Manager

Overview:

A well-established construction firm in Bahrain is looking for a Planning Manager to take charge of the planning function across a number of varied projects. This is a key role that will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident juggling multiple live projects at once.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of project planners, ensuring that each project is running to schedule and that planning processes are consistent and effective across the board. This role isn’t just about managing timelines — it’s about foreseeing potential challenges before they arise, coordinating with site teams and project managers, and making sure resources are being used in the smartest way possible.

You’ll be the go-to person for all things planning, working closely with senior management to keep projects on track and clients informed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the GCC.
• Proven track record in planning and scheduling multiple complex construction projects simultaneously.
• Experience in building, civil infrastructure, and industrial construction is essential.
• Proficient in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Salary:
BHD 1,800 to 2,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
