Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Recording and processing of all claims transactions to ensure they are accurately entered in the system.
1. To ensure claim process like intimation are done within the agreed TURN AROUND TIME.
2. Wherever delegated surveyor appointment, investigator, lawyers are appointed immediately.
3. Follow up with the loss adjusters, Account Executives and clients.
4. Reporting to senior claim administrator on a regular basis on claims related issues.
5. Ensure updating of reserves in system.
6. To call concerned parties for clarifications.
7. Prepare settlement of claims.
8. Submission of claim statistics to insurance companies/ clients as per agreed frequency.
9. Ensure updating of claims reserves in system.
10. Keep records of settlement for adequate period.
11. Adhere to the contents of the Operating Procedures Manual (OPM) and the Company’s overall internal procedures and policies.
12. Nil E&Os.
13. Miscellaneous tasks within the scope of work, as assigned by the direct manager.

Requirements

• University degree
• Good command in English
• Preferably bilingual.
• Holder of relevant professional insurance qualifications or excellent progress towards achieving the same.
• 1 – 2 years of experience in general insurance
• Excellent computer skills in word and excel with good typing speed. Exposure to working with insurance systems is preferred
