Job description / Role
• Supervise execution of all construction activities on site.
• Monitor project progress and resourcing on site.
• Produce program of work for individual projects.
• Resource planning and allocation of manpower and plant.
• Coordinate with all subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate with all relevant authorities to gain approvals for works to begin.
• Attend progress meetings with consultants and client when required.
• Prepare material requisitions for any site at planning stage.
• Maintain company QA/QC procedures.
• Raising up valuations with the assistance of Quantity Surveyor.
• Ensure health and safety policy is being implemented on site.
• Submit tender price for future projects.
• Ability to use specialized project management software such as MS Project, Primavera.
• Regular reporting back to the senior management.
Requirements
• University Qualifications: BSc in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
• Nature and length of previous experience: At least 15 years of experience in managing construction projects.
• Specialist knowledge: Familiar with construction program software like primavera and MS Project
• Soft Skills and Personality traits: Leadership skills, Proactive, Problem Solver
