Job description / Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will manage project resources, collaborate with various stakeholders, and implement effective strategies to achieve project objectives while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular project meetings to communicate status updates, address challenges, and celebrate milestones.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements throughout the project.
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify and manage project risks, including developing contingency plans to mitigate impacts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
