Job description / Role

Please note this position is open to Western educated candidates only due too visa restrictions. Also note we are a candidate with a BSc in electrical engineering

• Health & Safety Management, ensures that safe work practices are followed at all times and zero accident incidences are maintained.
• Deliver the Project within Budget & on Schedule.
• Drive the job commercially.
• Ensure systems & procedures are being utilized
• Maintain cash flow with the P&L on the project.
• Reviews the preparation of proposals, presentations, technical evaluations and cost estimates
• Establish a site-specific execution framework that promotes the safety, quality, security, productivity, schedule, cost control, and profitability of the project.
• Utilizes insight and experience by providing recommendations on strategy, best practices and other operational issues.
• Maintains a positive cash-flow of the project.
• Ensures that all third party interests are maintained in accordance with good business practices at all times.
• Prepares and closely monitors budget for each project in accordance with the CCS.
• Meets project targets on sales margin and cash flow as specified in the CCS.
• Turns over project on-time.
• Complies with legal regulations concerning labour and personnel welfare.
• Prepares and implements project plan, standards and procedures in accordance with company, client and project requirements.
• Makes sure that the project control functions for material takeoff and quantity measurement are maintained in line with the company and client’s standards.
• Complies with Engineering standard requirements for the project, as well as statutory audit requirements.
• Protects the clients interests in the contract with the Client and with subcontractors and suppliers, ensure no risk to company.
• Ensures that the company’s procurement procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Maintains correct manning levels in accordance with company ratios.
• Develops and Implements ISTO procedures.
• Ensures submission of financial reports on-time.
• Establishes and maintains harmonious business relationship with clients.
• Submits regular progress reports to keep the clients well-informed.
• Develops business contacts and generate new business projects for the company.
• Promote client relations at the site and identify opportunities for up sell of services.
• Monitors closely ongoing projects.
• Submits regular progress reports to the Programme Manager.
• Collection of receivables.

Salary:
USD 90,000 to 100,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: plus living allowance paid for on top

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Essential Requirements (Detail a minimum of 3):
• Graduate from an accredited institution specializing in E&I
• Fluent English
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience, with 10 years in the field of engineering, procurement and construction in a senior managerial position. Previous assignment as PM of a construction project of more than USD 20m
• Experience in Civil/Structural Works install scope, subcontract management and Middle Eastern based roles
