Project Manager - Hospitality Projects

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our hospitality projects team,
specializing in rebranding & renovations in line with the Property Improvements Plans. The incumbent will Lead the project from inception to completion and is responsible for the delivery of assigned renovations on time, within budget and to the very high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:
• Oversee all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication among stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:
• Regularly update senior management and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.

Quality and Compliance:
• Ensure all renovations meet a very high quality standard and brand requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Budget and Cost Control:
• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
• Prepare and present cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
• Change control process - monitor and manage.

Risk Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Vendor and Contract Management:
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other vendors.
• Ensure vendor compliance with contract terms and performance standards.
• Reviewing consultant/contractor submissions

Documentation and Reporting:
• Tracking of activities and progress of works at the site
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, contracts, and correspondence.
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to the Director of Projects and other stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10 years experience of project management experience, specifically in construction, hospitality renovation, rebranding projects, and fit-out experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Previous experience within a hospitality environment
• Proficient in MS Office application.
• Knowledge of handling project management software like Primavera
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or any graphic software would be an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Background in interior design within Hospitality
• Certification in project management (CAPM, PMP)

• Ability to read and interpret furniture specifications and drawings
