Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Technical Purchaser / Procurement Engineer to join a dynamic design and Build company in Bahrain working for high end residential and Luxury projects in Bahrain . This role is pivotal in ensuring that o high-quality FF&E are procured based on design demand and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of technical specifications relevant to our industry. You will collaborate closely with purchase managers and design team to ensure that our procurement activities align with project goals and timelines. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Procure FF&E based on Technical specifications
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on technical specifications, quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best deals for the company while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand material and service requirements for upcoming projects.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely availability of materials for projects.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts related to procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as legal regulations related to procurement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the Design and Build industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of materials, equipment, and services used in construction and engineering.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and suppliers.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
