Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

Objectives and Roles include:
- Preparing interim monthly valuations
- Coordinating with consultant on certifying valuation quantities
- Check quantities given by engineers on site
- Preparing variation claims with the support of Project Manager
- Knowledgeable in contractual claims and EOT submissions
- Obtaining subcontractor quotes and making comparison to tender budget
- Preparing subcontractor payments against invoiced amounts
- Maintaining cost control on projects
- Prepare tender documents pre-bid stage
- Extract quantities for tender purpose

Requirements

- Must be a degree holder in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or similar
- Minimum experience required is 7 years
- Personality to take responsibility and meeting valuation dates
- Takes initiative in checking all quantities on site against what has been invoiced/submitted.
- Looking for long term employment
