Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Performs all duties associated with R&M Technician – LWD I (as necessary)
- Performs full disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing of pulsers, including main valve and control valve when service is required
- Performs full service (disassembly, inspection, assembly, testing, and calibration when required) of drivers, BAPS, gammas, flow diverters, extensions, interconnects, and batteries.
- Performs assembly and disassembly of NDT collars, and testing, calibration, and inspection of neutron and density inserts.
- Completes and collects required service records and documentation, and stores electronic copies online and hard copies in files.
- Performs failure analysis and update analysis in the Reliability database. Performs CR’s, NCR’s, Work Order Requests, Work Orders, PFTs, TERs, and read and file all tech alerts.
- Assists R&M Technicians – LWD I and LWD II in their roles when necessary.
- Mentors R&M Technician – LWD I and LWD Trainees
- Maintains all shop equipment and tools in good working order
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
- Attending mandatory safety meetings and maintaining Company property and equipment in safe operating conditions at all times.
- Knows, understands, and promotes Weatherford’s Enterprise Excellence Process and the Quality Policy and complies with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Understands and complies with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Requirements

- Minimally 2-3+ years related experience
- High School diploma (or Secondary School Diploma or equivalent) as minimum.
- Preferred 2 years College degree
