Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Receptionist is a core member of our team and the face of Gulf Researcher. With this in mind, you will be someone with a cheery disposition who is able to contribute positively as part of our team. You will be someone who has a flexible approach to work and who is willing to take on extra duties as necessary.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

Front Office
- Greeting visitors and connecting them with the appropriate party
- Answering the phone in a timely manner and directing calls to the relevant person
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail & correspondence
- Maintaining safe and clean reception area
- Setting up Meeting Rooms
- Monitoring CCTV

Administrative
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties
- Making travel arrangements
- Updating company intranet
- Onboarding of new employees
- Keeping up to date with health & safety procedures

External Vendor Liaison
- Maintaining office services as required (such as cleaners and maintenance companies)
- Managing office supplies such as stationery, kitchen supplies, equipment and furniture

Internal Event Management
- Planning team events
- Marketing duties – Social Media / Giveaways

Requirements

- Bilingual (Arabic & English – writing and speaking) Preferable
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Courteous & Presentable
- Strong customer service skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
