Employment: Full Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Under limited supervision:
• Prepare and/or analyze financial results of subsidiary operations for management review.
• Analyze and make recommendations concerning functional currency of international subsidiaries.
• Assist in the consolidation of US parent corporation and international subsidiaries.
• Work with internal and external accountants to set up and audit processes.
• Review and/or implement internal controls in subsidiary operations.
• Develop, recommend and audit best practices for importation, duties, and customs.
• Assist with financial support and analysis as needed.
• Perform research and planning according to GAAP/IFRS including recommendations to management.
• Provide detailed financial support and guidance for international regions as assigned.
• Lead special projects as assigned.
• Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other duties may include:
• Prepare and/or assist in budgets, product cost analysis, and other analysis

Requirements

• Arabic speaking
• B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, preparing and/or analyzing financial results of subsidiary operations
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a finance management position.
• International accounting experience
• Innovative, motivated, and self-directed
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent writing and speaking skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Preferred Qualifications
• C.P.A., C.M.A., or Master’s Degree
• Experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains
• Project accounting experience
• Audit experience
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
