Job description / Role

A Food Runner in a restaurant or café is responsible for supporting the front-of-house operations by delivering food and beverages to customers, assisting waitstaff, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The role focuses on speed, efficiency, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen or bar to customers promptly.
• Ensure all orders are accurate and complete before delivery.
• Assist servers with clearing and setting up tables.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing empty plates, glasses, and utensils.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery.
• Support servers during busy periods by helping with refills and extra tasks as needed.
• Ensure food and drink quality by checking presentation and temperature before serving.

Skills & Qualifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Physical stamina to carry trays and handle busy shifts.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
