Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To provide an exceptional customer experience, help provide a clean, safe, visually stimulating environment and drive sales within the brand.

Key Tasks:
- Greet every customer in your location.
- Portray a professional, friendly and engaging manner at all times.
- Contribute to creating an ambiance appropriate to the prestige image of the store.
- Establish customers needs, offer features and benefits and successfully close the sale.
- Maximize sales by advising customers on further purchases accessories etc.
- Maximize sales by developing effective client database and developing professional relationship.
- Assist in visual merchandising of the store by learning and executing LEGO brand retail visual standards
- Ensure security procedures for merchandise are observed at all stages in the sale process.
- Observe store procedures and guidelines for merchandise display and storage.
- Process sales transactions, cash, and credit card payments at point of sales.
- Record sales transactions accordingly.
- Wrap items in appropriate manner.
- Provide customer with information regarding returns and refund policies.
- Provide customer with information regarding future events.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and training.
- Carry out tasks and assignments as directed line manager.
- Close daily shifts and reconcile cash and sales.
- Responsible for any shortages on individual cash ups.
- Daily, weekly and monthly sales targets to be met.
- Restock store on an ongoing basis throughout the day to ensure all available products are available on the sales floor to maximize efficiency and sales

Requirements

- Should at least have a Higher Secondary qualification.
- Fluent English speaking.
- Previous experience in retail.
- Should have effective communication and inter-personal skills.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet tight time deadlines.
- Very presentable and well groomed.
- May require heavy lifting (boxes etc)
