Savings Analyst

Job description / Role

As a savings analyst your focus will be providing professional & personal service, your remit will be to provide support to all activities of the Operations team where you will cover business change, reporting and data, 1st line assurance, operational risk and control

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver projects to agreed timescales and budget expectations, where required
- Working alongside internal stakeholders, identify the data required to fulfil our savings process requirements
- Manage established savings methodologies within the Procurement, Commercial and Customer Engagement area.
- Provide support in identifying and validating savings provided, by reconciling against agreed methodologies and process
- Assist in the presentation of regular savings communications into Customers including Procurement, Commercial and Customer Engagement teams.
- Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
- Impeccable understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts
- Proficiency in statistical packages and financial software
- Ensure continuity of service in the savings team where necessary.
- Cover other aspects of the team as required

Requirements

Knowledge, skills and experience

- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and MS Access
- Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
- Impeccable understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts
- Proficiency in statistical packages and financial software

- Must be technologically savvy in order to navigate and organize electronic invoices.
