Job description / Role
A global investment firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to plan and execute their business applications with a focus on financial systems. You will have the opportunity to facilitate and redesign business processes for a credible and international firm.
As a Senior Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee overall application support for Financial management applications
* Deliver development initiatives for Treasury, Internal Risk and other financial management groups
* Act as the key outlet for processing all business application requirements
* Assist and participate with the development of new applications such as specification, design, coding, testing, deployment
* Liaise with external vendors and key stakeholders to understand business and application requirements
* Evaluate the implementation of third party products and applications to ensure these align with future business needs
* Act as project manager to plan and execute the application groups' activities and desired outcomes
Requirements
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the following criteria:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of financial systems such as Quantum, SunGard
* Strong knowledge of financial models and budgeting
* Understanding of IT service management, ITIL and system development life cycle methodologies
* Excellent planning and analytical skills
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
