Senior Design Engineer

Job description / Role

Seen as Bahrain's premier Main Contractor with 58 Years success handling Buildings, Civil Engineering, Marine & Oil & Gas Projects. Fantastic 5 day week working for a real Tier 1 based in the Head Office.

Based 25 Minutes drive from Manama in Bahrain. You will be reporting into the Group Design & Quality Manager for handling numerous design aspects such as:

• Analysis of structures & provide design solutions and methodologies
• Provide technical recommendations
• Record data & drawings for future projects and tenders
• Rectify issues and provide design solutions for both temporary & permanent structures
• Maintain ISO Standards & systems
• Provide workshops to site teams when needed
• Provide insight and expertise at tender and execution stage on site

You will have the charisma and people skills to drive the highest standards from your engineers, draughtsman & CAD technicians.

• 42 Storey High Rise Tower
• Theme Park
• Bridges & Underpass project
• Major WTW
• Luxury Villa Development
• 5* Hotel
• Marine & Port Works

Do you match this criteria
• Degree Educated Civil Engineering
• Proficient in STAAD PRO + ETABS
• Minimum 8 Years Plus experience in a Design role for a Main Contractor handling Build & Civil Projects
• You understand this role will involve site visits to trouble shoot & problem solve
• You can communicate clearly, present ideas and hold court with a client if needed
• 5 Years Middle East experience to you understand working cultures, clients and design codes
• Able to commence employment before the 10th of February 2025

Offer for the Right Candidate
• Lump Sum Salary Range is 1700-2050 B/D Per Month
• All business travel paid
• 30 Days Annual Leave
• Family Flights, Medical & Life-cover
• 5 day working week with office hrs of 8am to 6pm

Salary:
BHD 1,700 to 2,050 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
