Senior Engineer

Job description / Role

The Senior Engineer will lead the Centralized Gas System (CGS) sales and project team, focusing on driving project sales growth, managing key client relationships, and ensuring seamless project execution. This role requires a strong mechanical engineering background combined with exceptional leadership and sales capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
• Lead and manage the sales and project teams for the CGS division, ensuring optimal performance and team synergy.
• Drive project sales growth by converting leads, responding to inquiries, and securing new business.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives and client requirements.
• Identify and acquire new opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
• Engage and influence key decision-makers and stakeholders to effectively position CGS solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, execution) to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management.
• Foster a high-performance culture through motivation, training, and team development.

BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales/project execution in Centralized Gas Systems (CGS).
• Proven leadership experience in managing sales and technical teams.
• Strong understanding of CGS design, standards, and project cycles.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate technical offerings into business value.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in project management and sales tracking software.
