Job description / Role
Provides engineering support to Operations and Maintenance departments as per company requirements, established health, safety and quality standards and recognized industry best practices for maximizing process plant piping assets utilization. Works in the offsite Engineering section of Plant Engineering department, that provides engineering and project engineering services to all operating departments and operations of the company.
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management, piping and stress analysis in the oil refining, oil and gas production or petrochemical industries
• Experience in handling multiple projects and providing engineering support in an operating refinery environment
• A thorough knowledge of American, British and ISO design codes and standards covering equipment and installation
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
