Description
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to help support the business growth and workload across Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This role will report into the Estimation Manager based in the Bahrain head office. It’s a critical appointment forming part of the pre-construction team to help support the growth and demand placed upon the business in this current market.

Example of Projects
• Project consists of the construction of 7 km of dual 4-lane main highway, 2.6 km of associated dual carriageway, 3 storm surface water lifting stations, & adjustments to airport runway approach lights, in addition to all associated works
• Project involves reclamation of 155,000 Square meter peninsula, encapsulated in a 2.0 KM breakwater. To have a multi-purpose development along with a 120 berth Marina. Works involving Dredging, Reclamation, Soil Improvement, Breakwater revetment and Shore Protection works

Role
• Tender evaluation
• Collaboration with the team and the supply chain
• Develop estimates, take offs and build the tender price
• Present to the management
• Ensure all specifications and codes are hit for compliance
• Manage a methodical and calculated tender

Following is critical
• Clear Estimation experience handling Marine & Civil Engineering tenders (Bias 85% Civil & Infra)
• Strong communication skills demonstrated from the off with NSR Associates
• Degree Educated – Civil Engineering
• Capable of pricing work from “First Principles “
• Technically able to pull apart a project and look at all sequencing and pricing elements to seek an edge and commercial strength for tendering
• 10 Years Postgraduate experience
• Management experience handing more junior estimators, quantity surveyors & engineers
• Strong technical awareness and understanding of structuring bids
• Ideally Bahrain experience so understands firsthand rules, regs and clients
• Able to start before the 1st of May 2025 Absolute Latest
• Must have CANDY (CCS) software experience

Offer for the Right Candidate
• Lump Sum Salary Range is up to 2,800 BD Per Month
• Family Status, Medical & Visas Paid
• Annual Bonus related to personal & company performance
• All business travel paid
• 30 Days Annual Leave + Public Holidays
• 5 day working week
• Based RIFFA – 25 minutes’ drive from the Airport

Salary:
BHD 2,200 to 2,800 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
