Employment: Full Time

The purpose of the role is to assist the Head of Asset Management and Senior Management in leading the development and monitoring of robust asset allocation strategies for clients.

Job Responsibilities:
• The Senior Investment Strategist will take lead responsibility for departmental research and ad-hoc analyses on financial markets, macroeconomics, asset classes and portfolio construction issues and any other analyses to assist in meeting any objectives outlined in client mandates as well as any objectives as set and under direction of the Head of Asset Management.
• The Senior Investment Strategist will provide guidance to the Investment Strategists and ensure that ideas, research and departmental responsibilities are executed to the highest standard and on-time.
• Responsible for ensuring all reports and analyses prepared by the Asset Management Department are executed to high standard and on-time.
• Contributing to idea generation in portfolio construction, market views and ad-hoc research and tasks.
• Contributes to the development of complex financial models and financial analyses on a broad range of asset allocation and portfolio construction issues.
• Keeps abreast with current and projected market financial conditions and assesses their impact on asset allocation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience handling a similar role in Investment Strategy, Research, Financial Feasibility Studies & Analysis.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or similar preferred.
• Professional qualifications in Financial Analysis, such as CFA or similar, are an advantage.
• Must be fluent in English & Arabic.
