One of the leading insurance companies in Bahrain are looking for a Senior Manager – Business Performance Strategy & Analytics to join their team. Being one of the largest Global Insurers, this entity is one of the largest multinational insurance companies in the GCC and is recognized as a leading brand.

Title: Senior Manager – Business Performance Strategy & Analytics

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Reporting to: Head of PBR & Strategy

Role: To support head of business lines and other key stakeholders with financial planning and financial performance analysis including development and improvement of management information to monitor performance, critical evaluation of new and existing business opportunities or arrangements, and business partnering.

Responsibilities
• Strategic thinking and planning ability.
• Advanced command of MS Excel & building financial models and projections.
• Advanced command of accounting & finance and drivers of financial & business performance.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the GCC insurance industry.
• Design and delivery of evaluation studies/reports providing insight to the internal performance of the business portfolio.
• Leading critical evaluation of business plans and profitability analysis of business activities, key partnerships, M&A or other business opportunities to aid senior management decision making.
• Advanced knowledge of corporate strategy.
• Advanced knowledge of financial statements.
• Advanced knowledge of business analysis & financial modelling.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance operations and regulations (IFRS, Solvency, Other).

Requirements

• University degree in business related subject.
• 6-10 years in the financial sector, preferably within a business planning, strategic planning, advisory role in an insurance company.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory factors.
• Industry & Financial Technical Knowledge.
• Strong Excel & numerical skills.
• Desire to identify & implement changes to processes & systems as required.
• Time management to ensure meeting tight deadlines.
