Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Objective:
• Responsible to assist the director of risk management in all daily operations of risk, investment risk analysis.
• Reporting to top management for better decision making

Job Outputs and Responsibilities:
• Independent analysis of Investment proposals to identify significant sources of fiduciary, operation, reputation, investment and financial risk.
• Recommending risk mitigations
• Periodic evaluation of existing investments to highlight the key risks.
• Compare the actual performance and identify the key factors for the performance shortfall.
• Assist in developing and implementing a reporting system for Investment Risk Management.
• Develop metrics and systems for Key Risk and Performance Indicators for individual investments.
• Detailed review of Financial Models, Valuations, validations
• Preparing analysis of the investments to various macro-economic factors
• Identifying the scope of due diligences for in-depth understanding of the target companies/projects.
• Manage and report the Risk Appetite, ICAAP and Stress Testing framework for the group
• Prepare detailed Investment Risk report to the ARC and Board.
The JD will be amended from time to time

Requirements

Job Requirements:
• A Master’s Degree in banking, finance or accounting or equivalent relevant professional certification
• 5+ years’ experience in responsible positions in a credit risk management with exposure to credit products control or administration.
• Proficient with complex spread sheets and analytical tools.
• Posses excellent communication and interpersonal skills at organisational level having a diversity of individuals
• Personal: Competencies: IT savy, delivering service excellence, being innovative and having initiative, Investment industry knowledge, technicalities of risk management
