Job description / Role
My client is one of the leading Multi-disciplinary consultancies in the region who are looking to recruit a number of specialist staff to help take the business forward.
To support the continued growth of the organisation, they are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer. The successful candidate MUST have experience within DESIGN and must be able to have previous demonstrable success across variety of projects.
This position is open to candidates globally but must have previous experience of employment in the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design of HVAC, Water Supply, Drainage, Fire Fighting systems.
• Heat Load calculations, Water Demand calculation, pipe / duct sizing and pressure drop calculation, etc.
• Liaising with local authority having jurisdiction to ensure obtaining building permit.
• Allocate and Guide MEP coordinators/Design assistants with relevant work to complete design tasks.
• Plan resources, Guide Design Assistants and REVIT technicians.
• Preparation of specifications in Master spec format.
• Attending Project Technical Coordination meetings at Site.
• Review of material and drawing submittals.
• Inspect and witness testing and commissioning of MEP installation / equipment whenever instructed by team leader/Sr Engineer.
Salary:
BHD
1,800 to 2,600
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Must have a Bachelor’s qualification
• Master’s degree highly preferred
• Experience of projects in the GCC
• Working knowledge of latest building codes, ASHRAE, CIBSE, IPC, NFPA Standards etc
• REVIT skills (an Advantage)
