Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Overview:
To assist workflow of assigned properties by inspecting work progress and reporting on this to ensure the timely delivery in line with the plans.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, monitor, inspect and carry out buildings general maintenance MEP and Civil by assigned contractor or in-house team.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to optimise delivery and cost saving.
• Develop and implement facility management program including preventative maintenance plan and life cycle requirements.
• Provide Energy Saving Plans (mechanisms) and Emergency/Disaster Management Plan
• Financial forecasting/budgeting plan.
• Writing reports on regular bases on buildings conditions and assigned tasks progress.
• Assist and Support Property acquisition and/or disposal.
• Handle Refurbishment Projects and maintenance projects
• FM input in new projects from initiation to close out when needed.
• Handling Properties Facilities asset and control of documents.
• Review and supervise fit outs work related building, floors, shops, etc
• Supervise and Inspects facility routinely to ensure quality of maintenance as well as health and safety standards are being met.
• Read and understand Engineering drawings and ability to draft/editing drawings on AutoCAD.
• Carry out other duties that may be assigned by Reporting Manager or assigned Leader.
• To ensure that properties facilities are in line with strategy and best practice.

Requirements

Experience & Qualification Requirements:
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Facility Management or Property Management, Supervision and Monitoring of the Maintenance & other related tasks. At least 2 years in a similar role.
• Must be able to create a medium-term plan and forecasts for budgets and year.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar qualification.
• Any relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Must be fluent in Arabic & English.
