Job description / Role
Gulf Connexions is working in partnership with a major player in the financial services business in Bahrain. We have been tasked by our client to assist them in the recruitment of a Senior Software Developer. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled Bahraini developer to join a passionate and highly motivated team with one of the kingdoms most recognized and respected business entities.
To be successful in this role it is crucial that you be an ambitious and enthusiastic individual with a real hunger and passion to learn.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement custom software and applications.
• Identify and evaluate new software solutions.
• Design and update software database.
• Drive a technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices.
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs as required.
• Complete code enhancements/bug fixes for existing processes.
• Design overall architecture of the web application.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
• 7 years + of progressive software development experience.
• Financial services/banking industry experience is preferential.
• Extensive experience with .Net platforms.
• Expert knowledge of C# development.
• Highly skilled with modern front-end development.
• Effective communication is a must- Both written and spoken. ( English and Arabic)
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a results-orientated, fast paced environment.
• Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
