Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Develop, maintain and update Engineering standards, procedures, design guides and manuals to ensure conformity to industry best practice and consistency with the standards of Chevron-Bapco’s TSA Partner, provide support to engineering projects as CPDEP Champion and chair HAZOP meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil refining, Oil and Gas production or Petrochemical industries
• Thorough knowledge of American and British design codes and standards covering equipment and installation
• Familiar with software packages related to process safety and process Hazard Analysis [PHA] such as Project Hazard Analysis software Tools [PHAST] and PHA works
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent qualitative and quantitative, analytical skills and good interpersonal / communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent presentation skills with experience of construction and writing of engineering standards, reports, letters and proposals
