Senior Treasury Officer / HBTF Bahrain
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Treasury Management Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the bank's assets and liabilities in local and foreign currencies to achieve the best return and reduce funding costs.
- Manage bank’s position in foreign currencies.
- Apply and monitor risk control measures, risk limits and money market and FX lines.
- High Knowledge of interest rates, currencies and international markets
- Supervise treasury officer in managing their daily duties.
Corporate Treasury Sales Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing sales and sales support for Treasury products and services to corporate clients including FX Spot, Forward and other FX and interest rates hedging products (IRS, IR options….).
- Ensure that corporate banking team maintain a strong working knowledge of Treasury products and services.
- responsible jointly with corporate banking team for follow-up on cross-sales of specific treasury customers and/or specific treasury products.
- Coordinate with Corporate banking team, completes calls & visits on existing customers and prospects in order to develop new treasury business.
- Meet with Corporate banking team to review their accounts and identify prospective customers for treasury services.
- Ensure Corporate banking team to Maintain and update the joint sales calls, pipelines, closed sales, to enable the generation of monthly activity reports to track sales and revenue growth.
- Provide capital market products to corporate clients with high degree of diversity to meet their needs and risk tolerance.
- Ensure high quality services in responding to customer queries and complaints.
- Assist and advise customers in developing FX positions.
- Formulate treasury sales plan to increase client’s base and generate additional treasury income.
- Develop action plans to achieve bank’s budgeted volumes in the area of treasury sales.
- Prepare budget plan for treasury department.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Full knowledge of Treasury management & all of Treasury products, banking customs, and investment policy.
- (6) Years as a minimum in the Treasury fields, in which (3) years at least in Bahrain.
