Senior Water Engineer

Job description / Role

• The Water Treatment Chemical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing water treatment processes and chemical formulations.
• This role involves evaluating water treatment systems, conducting research and analysis, and providing technical expertise to ensure efficient and effective water treatment solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering with a focus on water treatment technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process Design and Optimization: Develop and optimize water treatment processes, including chemical dosing, filtration, and disinfection methods, to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Chemical Formulation: Design and test chemical formulations for water treatment applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• System Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of existing water treatment systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
• Technical Analysis: Perform chemical and physical analyses of water samples to determine treatment requirements and ensure water quality meets regulatory standards.
• Project Management: Manage water treatment projects from conception through implementation, including coordination with cross-functional teams, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in water treatment technologies and chemical engineering practices, integrating new technologies and methods into current processes.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all water treatment activities comply with environmental regulations and company policies. Maintain detailed records of processes, test results, and system performance.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to plant operators
