Service Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our water projects team, specializing in water management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing water treatment systems, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with project standards.

• Your duties will include overseeing installations, performing routine maintenance, and diagnosing technical issues to deliver high-quality service to clients.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams during project implementation and providing technical support and training to clients will also be key responsibilities.
• The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, hands-on experience with water treatment or pumping systems, and strong problem-solving skills.

• Support for New Business Generation for Water treatment chemicals.
• Preparing and agreeing sales action plans with financial targets.
• Retention of existing customers.
• Identification and promotion of Polymer and Evaporator anti-scalant business.
• Identify the training need of site employees and to provide the same
• Responsible for regular visit reports, action plan and regular review of targets
• As industrial water treatment sales and service engineer working on various proposals related to the boiler water treatment, cooling water treatment ,RO chemicals and Polymer chemicals.
• Trouble shooting CPP CT, VAM Chillers CT, Process CT, Ejector CT, Hydraulic Power pack CT Hot water system, Closed Loop system, open re-circulating system ,direct contact and indirect contact water system, Low pressure boiler ,High pressure Boiler and medium pressure boiler, RO Plant in terms of water parameters and technical knowledge.
• Have fine-tuned the operating parameters and achieved the maximum capacities for the clients.
• Monitoring of water quality of clients Boiler system, Closed Loop system water system, cooling tower system through onsite and laboratory water
• Regular testing of water samples parameters like silica level, Oxygen Scavenger, Phosphate, Nitrite, Iron, chloride, chlorine, total hardness, total suspended solids, turbidity, alkalinity, conductivity, pH, zinc, molybdate, etc.
• Provides personal service report to the client after servicing and monitoring the related scope of work in the plant.
• Identifying the critical process parameters for efficient running of cooling towers, boiler & RO systems defining the design space for all the critical parameters.
• Monitoring and stabilization of water treatment program in petrochemical plant.
• Work closely with plant personnel to fine tune the program for optimal cost benefit.
• Train the operating personnel in various aspects of cooling water treatment program and work closely with them for program optimization.
• Understanding of customers issues related to the products and working on resolving those issues
• Hands on experience in pre-cleaning and Passivation and activities prior to commissioning the treatment program like pre-cleaning start up, bio-flushing and flushing.
• Hands on experience in HACH -2900, Spectrophotometer.
