Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Lead meetings and engage with clients to:
• Gather requirements, Troubleshoot issue, suggest design
• Participate in business process analysis; document the process flow using tools like Visio, and work with the client to optimize the process from a procedural and technology standpoint. Iterate through the process with the client to review/refine and seek sign off
• Educate on SharePoint functionality
• Train on SharePoint and Microsoft related technologies
• Look for and act on additional project opportunities
• Must be able to map customer requirements in to technical solution

Develop the technical design approach:
• Define site Infrastructure including: site columns and content types, site/list/library structure
• Define the technical approach to implementing functionality such as workflow, records management, pages, and web parts
• Define the technical approach to administrative functionality such as office web apps, search, managed metadata, and security
• Determine when and how to use custom solutions
• Define the deployment process

Support the team in building solutions
• Install and Configure SharePoint and/or any other applications as per our service offerings
• Configure SharePoint Services
• Install 3rd party or custom solutions
• Create site columns and content types
• Configure sites, lists, libraries, web parts
• Implement custom master pages and page layouts
• Good Understanding of SharePoint User Interface (CSS, Themes, UX customizations)
• Implement SharePoint Designer (or 3rd party) workflows like Nintex
• Configure and customize the search center
• Install, configure, customize and coding of all components which forms the solution
• Good Understanding of SharePoint InfoPath forms
• Good Knowledge in SharePoint Migration 2007 to 2010 to 2013 to future versions
• Good Troubleshooting skills, Ability to analyse SharePoint logs and devise root cause for the current issue (configuration issue, performance issue etc.)
• Must have the capability to grasp newer technologies and update the team members with cross training activities
• Must be well versed with Web Technologies but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML

Lead Solution Administration
• Administer/maintain web applications and services in Central Administration (such as Search, User Profiles, Managed Metadata and other services)
• Implement security model
• Define and implement governance plans
• Define and implement disaster recovery plans

Lead Quality Assurance and Testing
• Work with development team to ensure business requirements are met
• Inspect application to ensure it meets the technical specification
• Work with project lead to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Good in Documenting Test Cases & Test Scenarios

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. (required). Bachelor Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field (preferred)

Skills
• Team player qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Technology and solution implementer with deep knowledge on infrastructure technology with hand on experience for troubleshooting and fixing Software issues.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.
• Must possess advanced knowledge of business workflows and have an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of Workflow Foundation, SharePoint, SharePoint Foundation, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Windows SharePoint Services, and SharePoint Designer.
• Must possess extensive database knowledge like SQL Server, RDBMS, Data Management, Data Analysis & Reporting Services
