Employment: Full Time

The Company:

• Established in Bahrain for over 20 years our Client is a leading Investment Bank. They are currently looking for a SVP-Equities Asset Management

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Verifies if Portfolios are managed in accordance with Client’s Objectives
• Makes investment recommendations in order to maximize returns of the Portfolio
• Supervises Portfolio Administrators in executing their tasks
• Reconciles transactions on the system regularly
• Liaisons with Client Relations regarding client on-boarding and communicates with clients on an ongoing basis
• Liaisons with Service Providers such as Lawyers, Custodians, Brokers, External Auditors, Internal Auditors, etc. to ensure the operational side of portfolios is running smoothly
• Prepares financial models of companies and obtain a proper understanding of the companies that the portfolios invest in
• Uses various valuation methodologies to arrive at an investment recommendation
• Liaisons with the buy-side research team, sell-side research analysts or market participants to obtain research and knowledge on companies that the portfolio invests in
• Services existing clients provides them with the monthly reports, factsheets, presentations and answering any further queries that they may have
• Discusses the overall strategy with clients
• Showcases the department’s capabilities to prospective clients by presenting their track record, investment philosophy, etc. in order to grow the overall business

Requirements

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors in Business Administration or Economics or Accounting & Finance
• Previous experience in Investment Management/ Investment Banking
• 10 years in Regional Equities Management
• Chartered Financial Analyst
