Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Tailor who knows about women’s fashion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail, providing high-quality alterations and custom garment creation. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that each piece is tailored to perfection. Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their specific tailoring needs and preferences.
- Take accurate measurements to ensure perfect fit for alterations and custom garments.
- Perform alterations on a variety of garments, including suits, dresses, and casual wear.
- Create custom garments from scratch based on client specifications and designs.
- Select appropriate fabrics, materials, and notions for each project.
- Use various sewing techniques and tools to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and tailoring techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a tailor for women’s fashion, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent sewing skills and proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of various fabrics and garment construction techniques.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and innovative thinking in designing and altering garments.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive client experience.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing client needs and preferences.
