Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This position responsible for managing organisational development projects and programs in line with business goals, and the below are the main roles and responsibilities:
• Coordinate effective learning, training and development strategies to support the achievement of business objectives.
• Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs.
• Formulates training policies, programs and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems or changes in products, procedures or services.
• Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study courses, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play and computer-based training.
• Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials.
• Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training, such as new employees’ orientation, on-the-job training, management development, and adaptations to changes to policies, procedures and technologies.
• Researches and selects outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics.
• Work with the senior management of the organization to identify & plan the development of staff with high potential to ensure fast track growth for such staff to facilitate retention.
• Oversees the preparation of position descriptions, both newly created and those that require updating and revisions.
• Ensures completion of job analysis questionnaires, performs job analysis as required, and refers jobs for job evaluation as appropriate.
• Provides leadership and direction with respect to the company’s performance management system. Ensures performance appraisals are completed as required, in accordance with policy, and assists managers and supervisors in their preparation whenever required.
• Communicates Employee Engagement system & methodology to all staff
• Recruit, manage and develop direct reporting staff.

Requirements

• Requires a college degree in education, technical instruction or related discipline.
• Must have extensive knowledge of instructional practices, including teaching materials, testing, and course content.
• Requires a high level of planning and organizational skills.
• Requires good verbal and written communications skills in English and Arabic, in addition to effective interpersonal skills.
• Requires excellent analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyse data, and Excel spread sheet proficiency.
• Requires exceptional time management, due to fast-moving, demanding work environment.
• Must be able to prepare PowerPoint presentations.
• Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.
• Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Must be able to influence other team members in a positive way and lead a department of individuals.
• Must be customer service oriented, sensitive to the needs of the departments and others.
