Veterinarian

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian with extensive experience in small animal practice to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for treating and caring for sick or injured animals, educating pet owners on animal health, and ensuring a positive experience for clients. As part of our team, you will be committed to ensuring the well-being of animals while adhering to the highest standards of veterinary care.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Animal Treatment & Care: Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medications, dressing wounds, and performing surgeries.
• Public Education: Educate the public and pet owners about diseases and infections that can be transferred from animals to humans.
• Health & Wellness Promotion: Advise animal owners on the best practices for sanitation, feeding, and general care to promote overall animal health.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records by documenting all actions, including updates to reports, animal records, and reporting diseases to public health officials.
• Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all procedures follow veterinary policies, ethical standards, and relevant government regulations.
• Diagnostic Procedures: Operate diagnostic equipment such as ultrasound and radiography machines, interpret the results, and determine the necessary course of treatment.
• Disease Control: Implement quarantine or testing procedures to prevent the spread of diseases to humans or other animals in accordance with government regulations.
• Euthanasia: Make compassionate decisions and perform euthanasia when necessary, such as in cases of terminal illness.
• Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional service to pet owners, ensuring their satisfaction and creating a positive experience at the clinic.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in small animal practice with a deep understanding of animal medical conditions and their unique needs.
• Education: Must hold a relevant veterinary degree.
• Work Under Pressure: Ability to manage stressful situations and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Work Schedule: Availability to work 6 days a week (Saturday to Thursday) from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM with a 30-minute break.
• Location Flexibility: Must be willing to work near the Amwaj area.
