Employment: Full Time

The Company:
Our client is a leading logistic company in Bahrain. They are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Pilots all the activities of the warehouse site: reception, preparation, expedition, storage according to the objectives defined by the Board of Directors. • Organizes all necessary means of the site to guarantee all the operations in terms of quality, deadlines and safety; uses space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets, environmental and legal objectives are met,
• Has a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these; manages efficiently the budget defined by the Board of Directors,
• Plans, coordinates and monitors the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods,
• Liaises with customers, suppliers and transport companies, responds to and deals with customer communications by email, telephone or in person
• Visit customers to monitor the scope and quality of service they are receiving,
• Organizes the recruitment and training of staff as well as the monitoring of staff performance and progress; motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded,
• Maintains standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely, according to local and international regulations
• Oversees the planned maintenance of hardware (vehicles, machinery, equipment including IT) and software
• Coordinates the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary
• Keeps stock control systems vigorously up to date and makes sure inventories are accurate at all times
• Plans future capacity requirements
• Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Deploys business strategy at the site level,
• Validates the staff organization according to the business planning,
• Optimizes the logistics assets for better profitability
• Participates in hiring future employees,
• Validates absence requests according to the needs of the company

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the related industry
• Relevant degree and certification.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of Warehousing Management System
