Workshop Supervisor

Job description / Role

An experienced Workshop In-Charge to oversee all aspects of workshop operations, including supervision of technical staff, maintenance of equipment, quality control, and ensuring safe working practices.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day workshop activities while maintaining productivity and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all workshop operations and staff
• Plan and schedule daily work assignments and production activities
• Ensure proper maintenance of all workshop equipment and machinery
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures
• Monitor quality standards for all work performed in the workshop
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Train and mentor technical staff
• Coordinate with other departments for workflow optimization
• Prepare and maintain workshop documentation and reports
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor and control workshop costs and budgets
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance schedules.

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
• 5+ years experience in workshop management
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment
• Experience in staff supervision and team management
• Understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
