Country Manager - Sourcing

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is working with a known international fashion brand and they are looking for an experienced County Manager - Sourcing to be based in Bangladesh.

As the Country Manager - Sourcing, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Strategically executing plan and drive revenue, efficiency and quality through effective sourcing, merchandising, in country approvals for pre-production and shipment samples, and delivery of orders on time in full.
* Lead the local Commercial function and drive building and harvesting a strong sales & management pipeline.
* Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analysing trends and results; monitoring costs, competition and demand.
* Build a strong supplier base
* Promote organizational culture, and develop a highly skilled multi-functional team
* Assess factories on a continual basis and ensuring their compliance to our demanding standards.
* Manage and rapidly resolve production and quality assurance issues by working closely with the teams.
* Achieve agreed business targets with respect to profit margins, vendor ethical and technical performance, quality and deliveries.

Requirements

Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (County Manager - Sourcing)

* Local Bangladesh experience within a fashion sourcing environment is a must
* High impact, dynamic, and visionary commercial leader, with a record of achieving results individually and through others; an intelligent, strategic thinker with proven ability to achieve plans;
* Highly experienced in merchandising, sourcing, product development or production, working with sourcing bases in Asia.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability of articulating the company's ongoing strategic product/market vision into sound commercial business plans and processes, and the charisma necessary to effectively focus and motivate employees
* Strong sourcing knowledge, with the ability to leverage external experts, associations and industry peers to identify and benchmark best practice.
