Job description / Role

Employment: Contract

Supervisory Responsibility
1. Planning, supervising, and coordinating the construction of a multi-disciplinary commercial project while ensuring that the finished product meets high standards of engineering and workmanship.
2. Ensure that all project activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within the specified budget.
3. Responsible for supervising project personnel and implementing quality assurance policy at the construction site.
4. Lead the project implementation team in accordance with the work breakdown structure (WBS).
5. Strive to implement the construction in the most cost-effective and efficient manner possible.
6. Chair planned site meetings contractors who all should be fully informed about the project's scope of work, construction quality, design drawings, material specifications, and delivery timelines.
7. Determine work method based on project workload, contract terms and conditions, and professional engineering standards.
8. Collaborate with the finance and Plans & Coordination department to create a detailed work budget.

Project Performance
1. Review quantity surveying and rate analysis, environmental studies for the project, initial drawings, scope of work, specifications and other project details.
2. Liaise with Plans & Coordination department for developing budgets/estimates.
3. Liaise with structural consultants and ensure cost effective structural design.
4. Define roles of project team members ensure accountability of each resource.
5. Strictly manage Quality control outcomes as per requirement.
6. Periodical analysis of planned activities vs actual activities.
7. Plan and organize handover from construction team to Customer Services Department.

Human Resources Management
1. Evaluate Resources, do-need-gap analysis and liaise on human resource management issues.
2. Assist in recruitment and allocation of personnel for the project operations as approved by management.
3. Assist human resources department in conducting performance management.
4. Evaluate training needs of the existing team members and arrange appropriate training periodically.
5. Arrange training and development programming in conjunction with the human resources department to meet company’s business objectives.

Subcontractor Management
1. Ensure accountability of all subcontractors’ activities.
2. Set and enforce standards of performance of subcontractors regarding safety, quality and work progress.
3. Check and recommend contractors/subcontractors monthly valuations.
4. Develop subcontractors for better work standard.
5. Foster long-term relationships with key Subcontractors.

Client Management
1. Establish and strengthen relationship with the stakeholders before project commences.
2. Anticipate potential issues and suggest ways to improve.
3. Coordinate with customer services department for modification of sold space.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from Reputed University.
2. PMP qualified

Working Experience
1. 15+ Years Experience in project management with Building Information Model(BIM) technology.
