Planning Manager - Chinese Speaking

Large Complex Water Treatment Plan is looking to Hire a Chinese-Speaking Planning Manager to be based on site in Bangladesh ASAP. The Main Contract has been awarded to a Chinese Contractor so to ensure a smooth program and success the Project Director has decided to hire a Chinese Speaking Planning Manager.

The candidate will manage planning & scheduling activities of the project to ensure the project objectives are achieved.
He or she will execute the planning & scheduling activities in accordance with engineering, construction, budget, health and safety, quality and Client’s requirements.

Key Standard Each key Subcontract:

A - Planning
• He or She Defines the division of the project scope in elementary tasks with respect to the project execution strategy (Project Management Plan) and project stakeholders.
• Builds up the baseline schedule including resource loading.
• Identifies and analyses critical paths and floats.
• Produces progress baseline curves for all work packages.
• Communicates baseline schedule to stakeholders after validation by the Contractor’s representative.
• Defines progress rules for each phase and discipline.
• Defines a comprehensive data collection system for both progress and resource data (internal and sub-contracted scope).
• Produces the Time Management Plan.
• Participates in meetings and negotiation with partners and client

B - Execution
• Supervises and/or updates the schedule for all phases and disciplines in accordance with defined progress rules.
• S curves update in liaison with the discipline manager.
• Progress indicators measurement and interpretation.
• Works with the all project team leaders to update the remaining duration

Salary:
USD 2,500 to 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The following criteria is essential for this role:

• Chinese & English Speaking is a must
• 10-15 years overall experience as Planning Manager of construction projects for contractors
• Demonstrable experience in Civil Works Subcontracting
• Experience in administration of ad measurement forms of contract
• Experience working with JV’s or Consortium's is a major advantage
