Second Engineer

Job description / Role

I have an urgent requirement for a 2nd Engineer for an exclusive resort in the Caribbean.
• The 2nd Engineer we are looking for must have a diesel mechanic qualification, and a basic understanding of pool maintenance and treatment systems.
• The 2nd Engineer we are looking for must be confident to work alone, and be able to communicate well with the team.
• The successful 2nd Engineer will be working for one of the top resorts in the Caribbean.
• This role requires someone who is willing to go above and beyond as may be called out to emergencies; works well under pressure and can stay calm within emergency situations.
• The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience on maintaining and operating of diesel power generation equipment and experience in operating synchronizing switchers and automated distribution systems at a minimum of 480V.

Requirements

• Experience in low voltage electrical works
• Maintenance and operation experience in RO plants
• Understanding and experience in other trades including plumbing and carpentry
• Experience in auto electric
• Experience with machinery and mobile plant repairs
• Maintenance trouble shooting
