Bored with the desert? Interested in teaching in the unique, tropical location of Brunei Darussalam in South East Asia?

CfBT Education Services are looking for qualified and experienced Primary teachers to begin work in government schools in Brunei Darussalam from January 2023, with a focus on the teaching of English and literacy in lower primary. Brunei Darussalam is a small, peaceful country on the island of Borneo in South East Asia. It is surrounded by pristine tropical jungle and beaches with temperatures around 27 - 30 degrees all year.

CfBT have been working with the Brunei Darussalam government for nearly 40 years in support of the bilingual education policy.

Requirements

Please read the MoE eligibility criteria carefully as we are unable to consider candidates don't meet the criteria

- Hold a degree from a university in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa, USA, EU
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status/teacher accreditation (PGCE, Bed, DipT etc.) in your home country. A TEFL cert with degree is not sufficient
- Have a minimum 3 years relevant classroom teaching experience post qualification with at experience of teaching in lower primary
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Be able to drive. Note that the test to obtain a Bruneian driving licence will take place in a manual car
- Be under 55 years old at the time of arrival in Brunei Darussalam
