Bus Mechanic

Job description / Role

We are seeking skilled and dedicated bus mechanics with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our maintenance team in Bulgaria. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our bus fleet through routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests on buses to identify mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on bus engines, brakes, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
- Ensure all repair work meets safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and minimize bus downtime.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs as needed.

- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with buses or heavy vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
- Should have a high school diploma (12th grade).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a workshop environment.
- Fluency in English or local language with good communication skills.
- Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in vehicle mechanics is preferred.

Salary:
EUR 900 to 1,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
