Project Manager (French-speaking, Mining) - West Africa

Linum Consult's client is an international firm well established in Africa. They are urgently looking for a French-speaking Project Manager from a Mining background to oversee their site in West Africa.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments to the client while defending the interests of the company
• Defining, implementing, and following-up on the human and material resources necessary for the achievement of the project
• Developing, analysing and monitoring the operational reporting of the project, in collaboration with your team and managers
• Identifying opportunities for business development and assisting in growing the company further
• Ensuring the cost effectiveness of the project

Requirements

• 8 years in a similar position
• Degree from an established university in Engineering or similar subject is essential
• Background of working in the mining industry, with an excellent working knowledge of the African market
• Strong experience of people management and operations
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written French and English

FINANCIAL PACKAGE
There is an EXCELLENT salary on offer + accommodation allowance will be provided + company car / transport allowance + company mobile phone and telephone allowance + private medical + 2 yearly flights + *education allowance + yearly discretionary bonus.
This is a permanent contract.
