Employment: Full Time

This is an urgent requirement for a French Speaking Project Manager to become involved on a major Hydro Power construction project in Central Africa.

Our Client is one of the largest International Contractors operating globally. They are responsible for delivering some of the most prestigious industrial, civil engineering and building projects in Africa and the Middle East over the last 50 years.

• Following the award of a major Hydro Power construction project in Burundi, Central Africa, the company are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of the project.
• The duration of the project from conception to completion will be 42 months.
• Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the performance of the project including management of contractual concerns, profit and loss, progress of work, quality and safety.
• You will need to assemble and supervise the project teams, direct preparation and update project budget.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Demonstrable experience in project management;
• Hydropower project construction;
• Tunnelling or micro tunnelling projects;
• Fluent in French (speaking and writing);
• Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
