Job description / Role
Client:
Linum Consult’s client is a major consultancy, currently seeking a Risk Manager from a Real Estate background to join their team in Ottawa, Canada.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the Senior Risk Manager is fully supported in delivering best practice risk management activities
• Undertaking end-to-end project risk management on multiple infrastructure projects. Undertaking risk reviews at regular intervals, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, determining treatments, and reporting and monitoring all project risk profiles
• Reviewing, developing, and improving the risk management strategy for the end client
• Conducting risk-based analyses using Monte Carlo simulations
• Integrating the risk management team with the program and project controls teams, ensuring full interaction with regards to cost and schedule management, change control and reporting
• Eliminating redundancies and identifying opportunities for improvement in coordination with the project controls team
Requirements
Profile:
• Degree qualification in a relevant subject from a recognized university
• 5 years’ experience of working within the Real Estate industry on major projects
• Project Risk Management experience
• At least 2 years’ experience conducting risk-based analyses using Monte Carlo simulations
• Demonstrable history of working within a Program Management or Project Controls environment
• The right to live and work in Canada
