Job description / Role
We’re seeking a Capital Operations Manager to join our client's Group Strategy & Development Department, focusing on investment, financing, and M&A activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in investment banking or consulting and a passion for driving strategic growth initiatives — especially within oil & gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment & M&A Operations:
• Lead and support M&A transactions, capital investment projects, and financing strategies.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence for potential deals.
• Manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle — from sourcing opportunities to negotiation and execution.
Strategic Business Development:
• Identify new investment opportunities aligned with the Group’s strategic vision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate market trends and develop growth strategies.
• Engage in post-merger integration planning and performance tracking.
Negotiations & Stakeholder Management:
• Lead business negotiations with global partners, investors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for leadership and board-level decision-making.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, advisory firms, and industry partners.
Requirements:
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance, specializing in M&A, capital investment, or project financing.
• Proven track record in executing successful transactions.
• Experience in oil & gas projects is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with China A-shares and related regulations is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
• Exceptional financial analysis & modeling capabilities.
• Strong business negotiation skills in English (Chinese language skills are a plus).
• Proactive mindset with a strategic and results-driven approach.
• Ability to work in dynamic, international environments — flexibility for global assignments is a must.
Location Flexibility:
• Base location: Dubai or Beijing.
• Willingness to travel and work internationally on project assignments
