Head of Interiors

Job description / Role

The client is a reputable Architecture Design company with a long standing reputation of delivering creative and innovative designs has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Interiors to work and lead development of hospitality, retail, and Workplace interior design projects.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee Interior Design function to ensure the delivery of design and drafting works required for the project’s proposal and execution; provide consultative assistance in visualizing Customer’s ideas to facilitate sales.
- Provide design & creative input on a range of projects from inception and ensure that a consistently high standard of design work is delivered
- Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification
- Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed. Facilitates project meetings
- Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and Client requirements
- Work with clients and organizing teams to prepare project deliverables such as Drawings, presentation boards, renderings, schedules, sketches, CAD drawing packages, FF&E specifications, etc.
- Use CAD standards, documentation standards, and other protocol.

Requirements

- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design with minimum of 15 years relevant work experience.
- Knowledge in Interior Design principles, Presentation/mood Boards, Building and Construction process.
- Skilled in design creativity and visualization.
- Proven design delivery with interior architecture and space planning skills
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Applications.
