Jumeirah Hospitality and Leisure was established in 1997 as a major developer of hotels and resorts in the UAE.
In November 2004 Jumeirah Hospitality and Leisure became a member of Dubai Holding. One year later the name was changed to Jumeirah Group.
Jumeirah Group achieved an international recognition with its award winning luxurious hotels, including Burj Al ArabBurj Al Arab and Emirates Towers.
Boasting a unique design, Burj Al ArabBurj Al Arab made its mark in the Guinness Book of Records in 2000 for the tallest all suites hotel in the world. Other major landmarks developments include the themed Arabian resort Madinat Jumeirah and the Wild Wadi Water Park.
Jumeirah has also an international portfolio of hotels in London, including The Carlton Tower and The Lowndes Hotel.
