Alsalam Aircraft Co. was formed in 1988 under the Saudi Arabian Economic Offset Program. Alsalam is a privately owned company with the ownership group consisting of Boeing Industrial Technology Group (BITG) (50%), Saudi Arabian Airlines (25%), Saudi Advanced Industries Company (10%), Gulf Investment Company (10%), and the National Industrialization Company (5%).

Alsalam performs heavy maintenance and modification on civil and military aircraft at its facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Alsalam has three climate controlled wide body hangars each capable of housing B747-400 sized aircraft, dedicated military hangars and a wide range of support shop capabilities including composite repairs.

Over the years since operations first began, Alsalam has developed strong relationships with all of its military, civil and VIP customers. These relationships coupled with Alsalam’s capabilities have today established Alsalam as the Kingdom’s premier aircraft maintenance and modification center and a major force in the region.
